Online Password Reset Tool
Accessing the Password Reset Website
Users are instructed to navigate to the password reset site for all credential management tasks. New hires use their S&K username and temporary password here and are advised to set up security questions to facilitate future password resets or account unlocks.
Setting Up Credentials and Security Questions
The username is defined as the first half of the user’s S&K email address. Users can edit their security challenge questions by selecting the Enrollment tab and using the pencil icon to choose and verify answers to two security questions. This setup is crucial for password recovery and account unlocking processes.
Changing Passwords
For password updates, users click the "Change Password" option to comply with the 90-day password policy. They must confirm their old password and enter a new one twice for verification. This process also applies to new hires changing their temporary passwords before expiration.
Resetting Forgotten Passwords
If a password is forgotten, users select "Forgot your password?", enter their username, and complete a Captcha. They then answer their security questions to proceed, choose a new password, verify it, and finalize the reset by clicking the Reset Password button.
Unlocking Locked Accounts
Accounts locked due to failed login attempts can be unlocked by clicking "Account locked out?", entering the username and Captcha, and answering security questions. The account unlocks upon confirmation. Notably, accounts automatically unlock after 30 minutes, but immediate assistance is available through an Emergency Locked Out Ticket submitted to the IT Help Desk.

Q&A
Q: What steps should new hires follow to set up their credentials and security questions?
A: New hires should receive their temporary password and a link to the Password Reset Site from their managers; then, follow the steps above to change their temporary password to a custom password. This temporary password must be changed before you can access the S&K systems.
---------------------------------------------
Q: Why can't I change my password when clicking on the "change my password" link on the login screen?
A: Passwords can only be changed online via the Password Reset Site. Password resets are not managed by the Microsoft links provided on the sign-in screens. If you encounter the error message stating that you need to contact your administrator, please navigate to Password Maintenance - S&K Technologies to manage your credentials here instead.
---------------------------------------------
Q: Why can't I access certain sites like ADP or Concur with my credentials?
A: Some systems are not configured for Single Sign-On (SSO) and require separate credentials for access. Although you may use the same passwords as your S&K password, these will not be updated in accordance with your S&K 90-day password changes and will need to be updated separately. ADP is accessible with S&K credentials via this link: ADP S&K SSO. Please Contact HR for Workforce Now Credential Assistance and the Travel & Expense Team for Concur Credentials.
